As we approach Memorial Day, Red Wing offers several events to honor the occasion and kick off the summer season.
Memorial Day Observances
On Monday, May 25, 2026, all city buildings will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Residents are encouraged to participate in local ceremonies and take a moment to remember those who have served our country. For more details, visit the city’s official calendar.
Concerts in the Park Series
Starting in June, the Red Wing Arts organization will host the annual Concerts in the Park series at Central Park Bandshell. The series begins on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with performances every Wednesday through August 26. Concerts start at 7:00 PM, with food trucks available from 6:00 PM. Looking Ahead: River City Days
