As we approach Memorial Day, Red Wing offers several events to honor the occasion and engage with the community.
Memorial Day Observances
On Monday, May 25, 2026, all city buildings will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Residents are encouraged to participate in local commemorations to honor those who have served our country. Specific events and ceremonies will be announced closer to the date.
City Council Meetings
The Red Wing City Council has scheduled a workshop on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a City Council Meeting from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. These meetings provide an opportunity for residents to stay informed about local governance and community initiatives.
Concerts in the Park Series
Looking ahead, the Concerts in the Park series will kick off on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Central Park Bandshell. These weekly concerts feature a variety of musical genres and are a great way to enjoy summer evenings with family and friends. Food trucks will be available starting at 6:00 PM, with concerts beginning at 7:00 PM.
